When people describe me, the word I usually hear the most is creative.  My gifts lie in the creative arts: music, writing, drama, and great literature: however, my teaching experience has covered ESL, flute, speech, drama, and secondary language arts. I spent 16 years teaching language arts and drama at Shalom Christian Academy, and for ten years I directed their dinner theater.  When we moved to Boiling Springs five years ago, I began working at Bible Baptist where I taught language arts, AP Literature, and AP Composition.   When I am not working on school work, I am helping my husband with our Restored Life Ministries, a ministry dedicated to restoration and spiritual formation.  The delight of our life is our three daughters and their families which include our eight grandchildren.  I now look forward to becoming part of the Carlisle Christian Academy family.  Col 2:2 captures the desire of my teaching toward my students when I echo Paul who prayed   “that their hearts may be encouraged having been knit together in love, and attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Psalm 139 has been and continues to be dynamic and transformational in my life.  Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller (besides my husband and children) are my heroes as they experienced first hand that to God  darkness is as bright as the day.  I look forward to partnering with the CCA faulty, parents, and, of course, our students.  Carol A.
