Hello. After 10 years of working as an Activities Director at retirement facilities with senior citizens where energy levels are low, where I was challenged to stimulate and motivate the elderly residents, it’s a joy to come to work here at CCA where there is no lack of energy and excitement. I enjoyed working with the elderly, but it was time for a change. I thank God for His wisdom in providing me with the opportunity to serve here at CCA.
A little about me … I grew up in a Christian home in western NY where my father was the pastor of a small Mennonite church. From as far back as I can recall I have loved to sing, so when it came time for college I earned my B.A. in Music, Voice Performance from the University of South Florida. I have sung in semi-professional choirs nearly my entire adult life and continue to do so. I am particularly fond of symphonic choral works and have sung most of the major oratorio repertoire with orchestras in FL, NY and PA. In 2002 I had the privilege of recording a CD of sacred songs, four of which I wrote. Prior to my years in the retirement communities I was a church organist and choir director.
I am the mother of two wonderful sons; Sean and Ryan who both graduated from Boiling Spring high school. Sean graduated from Shippensburg University with degrees in math and computer science and works as an IT professional. Ryan has worked for several of the big car dealerships and is an expert on every expensive car ever made. Both have wonderful young ladies in their lives. God is good.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…” Psalm 23 is my favorite passage in the Bible. This is the scripture that brings me peace and comfort most often and continually reminds me of the Lord’s amazing love and grace. This position with CCA is one of His many undeniable blessings. I look forward to many years here at CCA.
