I am very grateful for the opportunity to teach English at CCA! Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was in high school. You could even say teaching is in my blood, seeing as both my grandfather and my father are also teachers! I graduated in 2009 from Taylor University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I have spent the last 7 years raising and homeschooling my children. I have always loved literature, so when the opportunity to combine two of the things I love presented itself, I was thrilled! English can often feel tedious and antiquated, so my hope is to breath new life into the subject to make it something that is relevant and interesting.
My husband and I have been married for 15 years and have three children who are also attending CCA. We love traveling and exploring new places together. I also love reading and playing the piano. I’m so thankful to the Lord for bringing us to CCA and I hope to have the privilege of serving here for many years to come!
