It is a joy and privilege to serve at CCA! Before joining this amazing team of educators, I spent over 18 years in various roles in education: teacher, principal, head of school, homeschool mom, and professor. I earned my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Tennessee Temple University in 1999 and my Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University in 2010. Later, I complete a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Columbia International University.
I live in Chambersburg with my husband, Ron, and my daughter, who attends CCA. We love spending time together and enjoy miniature golf, traveling, hiking, camping, serving in our local church, and being with friends. I like baking, reading, researching, writing, and playing the piano in my free time. One of my favorite things about being the elementary principal at CCA is the culture because it exemplifies Godly love and academic excellence. Nothing is better than sharing God’s truth and principles from His word, praying with students, faculty, and families, and seeing students reach their full potential.
One verse that captures my heart’s desire as I steward God’s resources at CCA and serves as my mission statement for my work and ministry is Colossians 2:2-3, “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
