dward@carlislechristian.org

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to teach at Carlisle Christian Academy. I have taught and coached a variety of sports over the last nine years and teaching and reaching young people for Christ is a passion of mine. This school year I will be teaching primarily Middle School History, however some of you may have me for Middle School English, and Gym Class. I will also be serving as the Athletic Director at CCA.

I have taught for nine years, and prior to CCA I was the Athletic Director and Middle School English Teacher at Cumberland Valley Christian School in Chambersburg, PA. While at CVCS I also coached soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Currently I serve as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA.

I am originally from Binghamton, NY and attended Davis College in Johnson City, NY. I come from a long line of educators in my family with nine members of my family either currently teaching or being retired from teaching. I graduated from Davis College in 2014 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in education. While growing up I played a lot of sports including baseball, football, lacrosse, and basketball. This is where I picked the passion that I have for winning people for Christ through sports. While attending Davis College, I played basketball and was a part of the school’s first ever Small Bible College National Championship Basketball Team in 2011. I went on to win another National Championship in 2013 and currently I hold the record for most games played in school history.

I currently live in Chambersburg, PA with my wife Morgan, our daughter Kinsley, and our dog Moose. I am also working on completing my master’s degree from Wilson College in Education Administration. I look forward to having an amazing school year in my classroom.
