I am Miranda Heckman and I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelors of science in Elementary Education in 1994. I previously taught at a Christian school in Chambersburg for 19 years. I’m so excited to be working at CCA and serving God in 4th grade. My classroom theme is FROG, Fully Rely On God. I hope to show my students just how important it is to always rely completely on God in good times and bad times because He is always there and loves us unconditionally. I want to help them to gain and grow deep relationship with Christ.
I have three grown children, two daughters and a son, and a seven year old daughter that is in second grade at CCA. I have two grandsons that I enjoy spending time with as well. I enjoy being outside in God’s creation walking, camping, and hunting. I also enjoy singing and puppetry.
I am an active member of Greencastle Church of the Brethren. I sing in the choir, teach the youth Sunday school, attend and help lead Celebrate Recovery, help with Bible school, and teach Children’s Church.
